Introduction and History

City of Casey is one of the fastest growing municipalities in Victoria. Its current population in 2019 is 360,000 which is estimated to increase to 550,000 by 2021 – an increase of more than 50%.

The municipality covers an area of 396.66 sq km and is divided into 6 wards - Balla Balla, Edrington, Four Oaks, Mayfield, River Gum and Springfield.
